NoLoop Synth

The noLoop synth is a granular synthesizer for creating ambient textures from field recordings and sampled audio.

The left half of the user interface consists of a display, master controls, and a touch bar for editing audio samples. The right half is divided into four sections, allowing for quick access to the control of individual audio samples.

This project was designed and built while studying at Keio University in Tokyo, and was influenced by Hiroshi Yoshimura, Satoshi Ashikawa, and the Kankyō Ongaku (environmental music) movement of Japan.
