Interactive Mirror

Interactive sculpture consisting of slices of mirror which react to the movement of the closest audience member. The piece uses a Kinect sensor and custom processing code to capture the X, Y, and Z coordinates of the closest viewer in 3D space. This data is translated through serial comunication to an arduino Uno which controls 18 servo motors. A lasercut gear and pinion is used to convert the radial motion of each servo into the linear actuation used to push the pieces of mirror.
